GROWTH TIPS
Building an audience is talking to yourself until you find something cool people stick around for.

To go viral, you need to do interesting shit and live an interesting life.
The problem is that most of the time, we don't notice what’s cool about our daily lives.
Or we see it, but fail to share it in a way that makes people care.
Matthew Dicks, the author of Storyworthy, has great tips for transforming everyday stories into viral content.
1. Track One Moment a Day
Every night, write one sentence about the most interesting thing that happened.
It doesn’t have to be epic. It could be a client call gone sideways or a random idea in the shower.
The key is emotion:
How did you feel in the moment?
How did it impact your day?
We went to the beach with the pup yesterday, and went to a little brewery afterwards. They had this hilarious “canine pale ale” — effectively a non-boozy broth drink for dogs.
Biene really enjoyed it.
What a niche. Novelty dog beer. Allows you to have a drink and include the 🐶

After a month, you’ll have 30+ moments ready to turn into stories your audience will relate to instantly.
2. Publish Before You Polish
Virality doesn’t come from perfect posts: it comes from testing in public. Share your story fast, even if it’s messy.
Watch what people react to, then refine that emotion in your next post.
You’ll learn faster than any “content strategy” could teach you.
And if you're just starting out, you've got nothing to lose. Boring content doesn't damage your personal brand: it's just invisible.
3. Hit Emotional Extremes
The stories that go viral live at the edges.
List your first job, last failure, best win, and worst mistake. Now pick one.
Ask: “What truth here would make someone say ‘same’?”
That’s how you write content people share, not just scroll past.

This isn’t a one-time exercise. It’s a content engine. Every “first,” “last,” “best,” or “worst” in your life is a doorway into a new (viral) story.

GROWTH NEWS
OpenAI’s Video App Sora Hits #1 on the App Store
OpenAI’s new invite-only video app, Sora, just hit No. 1 on Apple’s App Store, ahead of both Google Gemini and ChatGPT. The iOS-exclusive lets users generate and remix short AI videos on a shared feed, powered by the company’s new Sora 2 model for high-realism visuals and sound. Despite being invite-only, Sora’s rise shows the viral pull of AI creativity. But it’s not without controversy: early clips, including a fake of CEO Sam Altman shoplifting, have reignited debates over AI video ethics, safety, and legality.
Instagram Adds Clearer Location Controls After Map Confusion
Instagram is updating its Map feature to make location sharing easier to understand, and harder to misunderstand. After confusion around whether locations were shared by default, the app now adds clear indicators showing if your location is on or off, plus reminders in DMs and Stories. Profile photos have been removed from Map content to avoid false impressions of live tracking. The update also expands the feature to users in India.
Facebook Rolls Out Fan Challenges and Custom Badges for Creators
Facebook is adding new tools to boost creator engagement, including fan challenges, custom Top Fan badges, and new metrics for community growth. Creators with over 100K followers can now invite fans to join themed challenges (like sharing routines, recipes, or milestone moments) with submissions ranked on a public leaderboard. Those with over 1M followers can name and customize fan badges, giving superfans unique recognition. Facebook also introduced analytics to track fan activity and loyalty, aiming to make creator pages more interactive and rewarding.
