GROWTH TIPS

The simple method to get started again

No one is constantly consistent.

Everyone skips a day a week or even a month when creating content or going to the gym.

The hard part after breaking your consistency is getting started again.

Because you just experienced failure, it’s easier to think about quitting than it is to start again.

That’s also the moment you’re most vulnerable to buying useless shit. You feel guilty towards yourself. You failed again. You’ve been here before. Why haven't you improved?

Don’t sweat it, dude. Everyone experiences it. And don’t worry, I have nothing to sell to you.

So instead of buying into another productivity guru, it's buying a course that you think will solve all your troubles…

Just take the smallest step possible to getting back on the horse.

When I haven’t been to the gym for a while, I just grab my kettlebell at home and start swinging it for 30 minutes.

That hasn’t gotten me back to the gym yet, but when I wake up in the morning and feel my sore shoulders, it’s a great reminder to pack my gym clothes and hit the gym.

The point I’m trying to make is:

The moment you realize you missed another day, stop everything you're doing and do the minimal thing you can to feel like you’re back on the horse right then and there.

For content creators, it could be as simple as replying to a few people on 𝕏. It takes 2 minutes. Just scroll a bit, and within the first 10 posts, make sure you comment a couple of times.

Those comments will quickly lead to something you can post. And that post will lead to new ideas you could schedule in Hypefury.

This goes for everything.

The minimal viable action will lead to more action.

Instagram’s 2025 focus

Instagram is doubling down on “creativity” and “connection.” Chief Adam Mosseri highlighted plans to enhance creative tools using AI and prioritize original content in its ranking systems, ensuring creators can share work they’re proud of.

“Instagram was really founded on the idea of allowing anybody to share something creative that they were proud to share, and so we want to double-down on that by making sure that our creative tools are best-in-class across the board, which they are not right now. [We’ll do this] by embracing new technologies, like AI, to allow more creators to create more content that they’re proud of, and by trying to reward creative content more by focusing ranking on things like originality.”

WHAT’S COOKING AT HYPEFURY

Stop sending cold DMs (it’s a losing strategy)

On a daily basis, I receive 10+ cold DMs. I ignore most of them.

The few times I read one, it looks like a cry for pity.

Spamming people with cold DMs (or cold emails) is a losing tactic. You waste time, and people may categorize you as a digital beggar.

I started a new newsletter to share effective sales and lead-gen tactics.
