The audience-building blueprint: 5 rules to live by

Most creators can’t monetize because their content is forgettable.

1. Authority is your engine.

Create content that actually helps people solve problems or reach goals. That’s how you become the go-to. Platitudes don’t convert, solutions do.

2. Learn in public

Pick a skill you enjoy, and others want. You don’t need to be an expert. Learn, apply, and share. That’s how you attract followers and clients.

3. Live an interesting life, then document it.

Build a business. Get jacked. Travel somewhere fascinating. Then, share what you’re learning along the way. No one wants recycled content—they want your story.

4. Show proof, not claims.

Take on your first 1-2 clients for free or cheap. Get results. Turn them into case studies. Break down what you did and how others can copy it.

5. Get your content seen.

Even the best posts won’t work if no one sees them. Distribution is how you unlock growth:

  • Add value in comments on larger accounts to get discovered

  • Invest in retweets to kickstart momentum

  • Use trending ideas as a springboard by building on them with your own take
