GROWTH TIPS
This will help you from being stopped by imposter syndrome
Itâs probably the biggest disease among young creators.
Imposter Syndrome.
Itâs not really contagious but it can definitely kill your creator business.
And I donât want that for you.
What I want to help you with is to become more confident as a creator. And itâs easier than you think.
Donât get me wrong, though. I still get a relapse every now and again. I think itâs normal and it keeps you grounded.
It helps you to be on your toes to bring out the best in you.
If youâre a beginner creator, the easiest cure for Imposter Syndrome is teaming up with someone close to you.
Show them your creations. Ask for their feedback. (btw, reply to this email when you donât have anyone you can share this with. I can probably hook you up with someone)
Once you have your feedback game going, the next best step is to just press publish.
Your friend is there for a little extra backup and support. Your content is there to show you the way in the future. Pay attention to what resonates and what doesnât. And experiment a lot. Your audience will show you the way.
And if you donât have a big enough audience yet to get consistent feedback from, just find a lot of interesting content in your niche you can reply to.
Probably 30% of my replies lead to new posts on my timeline. You can get rapid feedback from replying to bigger accounts. If you need a list of people you should follow, follow this đ list.
And remember: in the beginning of your journey, youâll have a tiny audience. Not many people will see your content. So itâs also worth realising the content youâre sharing wonât be scrutinized.
Youâll get more fans and haters as you learn and grow. By the time you reach that point, youâll have developed thick skin and long-cured imposter syndrome! And the only cure for it is to press publish as much as possible!
