GROWTH TIPS

To make your first $10k you don’t need a product

Most creators waste weeks working on their signature offer.

It's gonna be a $399 course. Maybe with a community. 17 modules. Videos with perfect slides.

There’s a problem, though.

Courses, memberships and communities are huge commitments. And if they flop, you get nothing in return.

It would make sense if you built it over the weekend. But if you want to make it great value, it should not be your first goal as a creator.

Instead, start with a service.

First of all, it works from day one.

Second, it creates an immediate flywheel:

  1. You post on 𝕏 or IG about the problem you solve

  2. Every person who interacts with your posts is a potential lead

  3. Connect with them through DMs

  4. Learn what their problems are

  5. Help them with a service

  6. You get testimonials and more material for your posts

  7. Loop back to step #1

You don't even need a website. You could even just sell leads for other people’s service.

A discovery channel like 𝕏 or IG and a simple sales CRM like Inboxs are all you need to reach your first $5K–$10K/month.

And starting a service doesn't mean you stay small.

Clifton Sellers started by posting on 𝕏. His content worked, so he started selling a service to help founders with their content. From that, he built a seven-figure content agency.

So stop complicating it. Forget big plans with lots of effort.

Start selling a service today.

NEWS CREATOR SHOULD KNOW

Want to show up in ChatGPT answers? Optimize for Bing

ChatGPT pulls results from Bing's search index, not Google's. That means creators could have a rare SEO edge if they target Bing now.

This insight comes from Guillermo Flor, who researched how AI search surfaces websites. Founders are already getting leads from GPT suggestions. Tactics like FAQ schema, internal links, and themed content clusters seem to help.

There's no official playbook yet, but that's the opportunity.

  • Super Thanks

  • Virtual Gifts

Google's now placing ads inside Roblox

Roblox, one of the biggest user-generated gaming platforms, with over 70 million daily users, is now part of Google's Immersive Ads rollout.

These in-game ads show up as billboards or 30-second videos that don't interrupt gameplay—and players get in-game rewards like currency or power-ups for watching.

This opens up a massive opportunity for creators and marketers: ad space inside a thriving digital world where players want to engage. Completion rates? Over 80%.

It's not just kids playing—this is part of the metaverse shift, and brands are already inside (Gucci, GAP, Hilfiger).

Google just gave creators a new playground.

How to set up a sales CRM for 𝕏 or Instagram

Selling high-ticket offers isn’t about sending perfect cold DMs.

Sales is like a video game.

Every time you message someone new, you start a new round.

If you always play the same way, you’ll keep losing. That’s why most newbies spam everyone for three weeks and then vanish.

To win any game, you need a system. Without one in sales, you’ll lose leads, forget to follow up, and kill your chances of building trust.

Nobody’s spending big money on someone who popped up in their DMs and disappeared the next day.

So, when I talk about having a “system,” I mean this:

You need a CRM.
